If a fence is going to fail somewhere, it fails at the gate. It's the only part with moving loads, and it's the part you touch every day.
Why ours don't sag
A wood gate frame is a rectangle held together at the corners, hung off one edge, and swung several thousand times a year. Over time the corners work loose and the rectangle becomes a parallelogram. That's the sag. It isn't bad building, it's geometry plus weather.
We build gate frames from 16 gauge welded steel, powder coated black, hung on steel gate posts rated to 112 mph. The frame doesn't rack, so the gate keeps its shape. When the pickets eventually weather, you re-picket the same frame.
The manufacturer warrants these frames for a limited lifetime. Same terms as the posts: original residential purchaser, replacement material, coastal environments excluded.
What we build
Single walk gates, double drive gates, and oversized entry gates for farm and property entrances. Commercial grade hinges and latches on everything, self closing and self latching where pool code requires it.
