Aluminum and ornamental

Aluminum and ornamental fencing

Aluminum doesn't rot, doesn't need staining, and doesn't move the way wood does. In this climate that's a real advantage, and it's why most of the HOA neighborhoods around Tallahassee specify it.

Where it makes sense

Pool enclosures.

Florida has specific requirements for barriers around residential pools, covering height, gaps between pickets, ground clearance, and self closing and self latching gate hardware. We build to code and we'll walk you through what your particular installation needs.

HOA neighborhoods.

Several communities here specify aluminum, sometimes down to the brand and color. SouthWood is the strictest we work in. We handle the approval submissions.

Views you don't want to lose.

Anywhere a solid fence would wall off something worth looking at.

What we install

Powder coated aluminum in flat top, spear top and pool code profiles. Self closing hinges and self latching gate hardware on every pool gate.

A black ornamental metal fence meeting at a right angle corner post, its narrow pickets rising past two flat rails to spear shaped tops, set on mown grass in front of dense green woodland.
A black aluminum picket fence with a matching gate, set on a concrete edge in front of a horizontal board wood fence and a dark mulch bed.

Pool gate or property line?

Either way, call and we'll walk it with you. Pool enclosures we'll take through what your particular installation needs to pass.
